Dr. Stephen LaDue DVM Graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1969. After graduating he spent his first year practicing Veterinary Medicine in South Bend, IN at the South Bend Animal Hospital. With a year of experience he traveled south to Tampa, FL where his legacy would begin. He began practicing at Forest Hills Animal Hospital where he had the pleasure of caring for and treating the exotic animals at Busch Gardens Zoological Park.  In 1972 he established the Town N’ Country Animal Hospital in Tampa, FL.  He was then offered the opportunity of a residency program at the San Gabriel Valley Emergency Animal Hospital in El Monte, CA. He gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the emergency animal medical field and returned to Tampa, FL in 1974.  Upon his return he broke ground building his 24-hour emergency clinic the Tampa Bay Animal Medical Center. For over 15 years he served the Tampa Bay community plus surrounding areas touching many lives as he cared for their precious pets. Dr. LaDue’s reputation enabled him to acquire a position as an associate Veterinarian at the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, FL while managing the Tampa Bay Animal Medical Center. Dr. LaDue loves to discuss his experiences and very interesting cases with his staff, clients, family and friends. From operating on a 10ft alligator to a routine visit of your families pet Dr. LaDue is always pleased to serve his clients with compassion, understanding and of course humor for all of those who know and love him well.
